Meet the Author

Hello and thank you for taking the time to read not only my poetry, but this page. I do hope that you enjoy my poetry!

I was originally born in Indiana but moved to Ohio when I was about five and have lived here every since. I have gone from private school to homeschool to public school. I am currently a high school senior at a public school. I plann on majoring in Natural Resources Law Enforcement this fall to become a park ranger.

I live with both of my parents and my two younger brothers. I have had many pet reptiles over the years but currently own a corn snake, blue tongued skink, and two rankin bearded dragons.

I have been writing for a very long time but have been writing poetry longer than I have stories. I'm currently working on two separate novels, one I do intend on finishing.
My greatest downfall is not being able to spell very well. I spell the way I hear things. I always spell check everything but bare with me, I don't always catch everything.

I am also an active photographer and artist. I draw and paint although I'm not that great of a painter, though I do enjoy it. I also carve stamps and make Artist Trading Cards for a stamp group. I also make jewlery and sell it on etsy.com. I do a little bit of everything but my main focus is on writing, photography, and stamp carving.

I get a lot of my inspiration from many different things. My poetry ranges from happy poetry to sad poetry. Depressing poetry to freaky poetry. From death to life and just random things.

I chose the name "From Light to Darkness" as my blog title not only because of the range of topics I write about, but because that's the name I'd like to use if I ever published a book of my own poetry.
